Amazon is my go-to for last minute everything. When one of our teachers decided, 3 days before school started, that she preferred “primary” composition books/journals, I popped over, hoping I could find a seller that had both a good price per book and could still get them to me before school started. These notebooks fit the bill. They’re very good quality, particularly for the price (about $2 each when I purchased) and arrived quickly. The covers and paper aren’t quite as thick as the name brand journals but they’re plenty sturdy and, as it turned out, are the brand our teacher uses herself. These also have 100 pages inside, where others only have 80. I don’t know that my child will use all 100 sheets but I feel that it adds to the value. Each page, both front and back, has a space at the top for a drawing, graph, whatever, which is perfect for Pre-K – 2nd grade kids, where most of their assignments tend to ask for a picture to go with their work.
